VALLEYS
Every Valley has a peak
'Cause baby there ain't no mountain high enough’
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from doing what I do’
Like the color blue, some see turquoise, Royal blue... Cobalt blue, Periwinkle, Dark blue, Cyan, Ultramarine, midnight blue, baby blue, Bleu (In French) Aqua, Teal, Ocean, Navy, Sapphire, Indigo, Robin Egg Blue, Denim, Persian, Sky Blue, Azure Blue, Iceberg, Topaz. There are various ones.
Blue represents people. Not because they are sad, but because there is a variety. Everyone is different. Everyone has different personalities, colors, shapes, and sizes.
There are many different shades of black and white. We are very much like a Newspaper, as sometimes they are also red.
Not every color of blue is appreciated. If we look at people, an Albino is not all the time respected. This is because society says they are very different. They may be different, but they are one of the most beautiful people on earth. Everyone has a purpose in life, and we shouldn’t judge based on color. Each person represents a different color blue. If you look at each color, they may look the same, but they are different from one another.
Birthmarks, eye color, smiles, personality, skin tone, freckles, hair color...these are all traits that make each person beautiful!
Many people think you have to have lots of money to be successful. You could be successful in business, in a job, at school, cooking, at music... There is no written document saying you can’t be successful in everything you do.
People always put themselves down, as they think they can’t be good. As long as you try your best, in everything you do, you will always be blessed

STAND UP
My name is Cassandra
I am going to stand up.
Stand up for Justice
Stand up for Equality
Stand up for your rights
Stand up for Peace
I can do this, whether my name is Jack, Robert or Bernice
White space, black space, we need to embrace! This is neither a brotherhood or a motherhood. We need to stand up to equality, as this is not a comedy.
People have the power to knock us down.
We are not weak, we can’t back down.
We are strong in a country where we belong.
Look at Kaepernick kneeling down. He did it when everyone was around. He said he felt disrespected where he was. Kaepernick protested, did what he did and got respected. Colin took action and got a strange reaction. He fought, got Justice and stood up for people in need, made a statement and took the lead. The authenticity and passion shined bright, as he became a leader. Nike then signed him and opened the doors for his career, knowing that he had a hard year.
As Naskar said, “Sentiments that glorify humanity know no racial distinction”. We can’t let racism be a contradiction. The attitudes and behaviors are learned as there is a reaction to an action, also known as cause and effect. We must stand up, and have some respect.
"Millions of people are separated from their families for months at a time — not because they are convicted of committing a crime, but because they are accused of committing a crime," Jay-Z wrote. Look at the wall Trump wants to create, I’m glad I don’t live in the States.
This is an urgency, what’s the emergency?
We need to distinguish the good from the great and extinguish all the hate. Although people feel superior and differentiate, we shouldn’t have to discriminate. Racism is everywhere, and we must become aware.
A mythological spirit is a nymph, my whole body is soaked in corrupt lymphs.
When people get pulled over, look at the lights on the car. Why are they blinking?
This is obscured. What am I thinking?
Police officers yelled for me to step back, just before they attacked.
They shoot and BANG, their life is over. Look at all this exposure
Blood oozing out from head to toe. Why God do they have to go?
From Garner to Brown, Castile, and Sterling.
My head hurting, it is whirling.
Unarmed and scared, what else do you want them to do?
Individuals like this can not be compared.
Racial discrimination and disparity are a big effect in society,
This issue is giving me anxiety.
What’s the difference between me and you… him and her?
History just seems like a big blur.
We need to educate each other and form new contradictions
We have the power to make a jurisdiction.
Stand up to what is right
Everything will be alright.
Fight for what you believe in,
You can do it, you can win!
Be strong for your friends and family,
Look for justice, look for equality.
Stand up for peace, against the police.
Words are strong, but actions show more power
Think about this when you go in the shower.
We can’t be silent about things that matter
We can’t let families shatter.
You must Stand Up.

TODAY
Today is your day.
It’s important that you do everything you can today, as tomorrow doesn’t exist.
The calendar goes from Sunday-Saturday.
We always say TOMORROW
But tomorrow doesn’t exist.
We got to learn to take risks, as we never know what can happen
We could be here today and gone the next.
We could be healthy one day, and sick another day.
People don’t know what’s going to happen, as tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.
It’s important to tell your loved ones you love them and spend all the time you can with them.
People who die today had plans for tomorrow. People who died yesterday had plans for today.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed.
Things happen, and life kicks us in the butt. We have to be cautious and forgive others. We have to be able to strut our stuff. We must be strong and conquer our fears.

MEMORIES
1 picture can say 1000 words.
I take a lot of pictures, just so when I’m old and grey I can look back and remember the good times.
I’m known as Paparazzi, or better yet ‘Mamarazzi’. Uncle B gave me this name because I’m always taking pictures. Some people say to put the camera down and enjoy the moment, but I can’t. It’s hard for me. I like to capture the moment and let my pictures tell the story.
Memories will fade, but pictures can be shared and placed anywhere. When I’m old and grey, I want to look at these photographs, and see the difference in how I look then and now.
I can tell my story every day, but once my memory goes away, the story changes up and I won’t remember the good parts. Thankfully, if I lose a picture, I can back it up to a drive, and access it anywhere. 2020 is almost here, and look how far we’ve become. Imagine life in 2050, technology will be even more advanced, I hope I don’t sound dumb.
I don’t need a camera to capture a moment, but it helps capture a memory. It’s hard when you don’t have the correct light, angle, focus or aperture, but depending on who takes it, the picture still comes out okay. Not everyone has a photogenic eye. Memory is not going to tell you how dark it was, and the angle you saw things in, but a picture will. Some pictures may show off sadness, happiness or anger, but a picture will always tell a story.
I used to have a boujee camera, and then I got a Canon EOS to take the perfect pictures. The light is not always perfect, but I have still captured an amazing moment. I have captured candid photos, photobombs and posed pictures.
Some of the photos I have are from people that are dead right now. These photos are documented and will be kept forever! Even though the photo is beautiful, it is nothing compared to the image right in front of me. The picture on the other side of the camera may sometimes tell a better story.
Not every storm is supposed to bring you down, sometimes, it just shows you how to make a touchdown. I move in silence and let my success be the one to shout. All these people care about are IG, Youtube, Snap, and Clout. Cheers to the ones we made, and Cheers to the ones we are going to make. Everyday we make new memories, which can be told later on in the future.
